4GW Offshore Windenergy Extra For The Netherlands

From a leaked Dutch concept energy agreement:
– No new coal based power stations, old ones closed down before December 31, 2015.
– Private persons will be offered loans by energy companies for energy saving measures. The loan will be paid back via the energy bill.
– 7.5% tax breaks for local energy generation, like solar panels.
– Between 2014-2020 tenders for an additional 4GW offshore wind

[] – update July 11, 2013: until 2023, minimum 4.4GW new wind offshore + 6GW new wind onshore. With these plans the EU target of 14% renewable energy in 2020 will be met.
